I'm sure the first question you may be thinking is "the different?" and "what's up with all these rainbows?"

As for the rainbows, well, I have always loved them. I love color. It amazes me how a simple color can evoke many different feelings and emotions in people. When trying to think of a color scheme for this site I couldn't settle on any one color so I figured why not use them all! I realize this is a big no no in the design world (using more than 3 colors generally) but since this is my site and I love color I figured... go for it :o) I could go on and on as to why I chose rainbows, but I'll leave that up to you to figure out. ;o)

Now back to the title... again as I was thinking about developing this site I was trying to figure out how I was supposed to tie everything together because my likes and interests are so varied (i.e. DIFFERENT). The fact that my all time favorite musician, Melissa Etheridge, also has a song called "The Different" had nothing to do with the name of course ;o).

So there you have it... the not so in depth reasons behind the layout and name of this site. Aren't you glad you stuck around to find out? Now you can continue your day with a complete knowledge of the reasons for this site. Oh... also I had to come up with something for my school project - but that of course is a very *minor* reason ;o)
